Exclusive Website Store Design for Rhubarbchairs
I was commissioned to create an exclusive website store for Rhubarbchairs, a distinguished furniture design company based in East Sussex. Specialising in beautifully up-cycled statement furniture and lovingly restored classics, Rhubarbchairs wanted a platform that would reflect the high quality and craftsmanship of their products while providing an intuitive, seamless shopping experience for their customers.
The main objective was to design a bespoke website design that would showcase their exclusive furniture pieces in the best possible light. To achieve this, I focused on incorporating spectacular, high-quality photography, ensuring that each product’s intricate details and unique character were captured. The striking imagery is a key element of the site, as it visually communicates the beauty and artistry behind each piece of furniture.
The website was developed using WordPress as the core platform, offering the flexibility and ease of use needed to manage the store efficiently. I integrated Stripe payment processing and utilised custom-coded Gravity Forms for a streamlined purchasing process, ensuring that customers could easily and securely purchase these one-off pieces with minimal hassle. The integration of secure payment gateways guarantees a safe and reliable transaction experience for all users.
The design of the fully-managed website is kept simple and elegant, with an emphasis on allowing the furniture itself to take centre stage. The navigation system is non-intrusive, providing users with an effortless browsing experience while ensuring that they can easily access key product information and make purchases without distractions.
Since its launch, the website design has successfully enhanced RhubarbChairs’ online presence, providing them with a professional and visually stunning platform to showcase their exclusive & eclectic furniture collections and attract a wider audience of design-conscious customers.
